JC240-The Rose “Rebecca” is a 3 piece white (special) taffeta & chiffon gown set. The bodice is complete with shoulders seams and armholes, with 2 snap back closures. The chiffon rosette trim is carefully hand attached to the bodice & at the hemline. The underneath of the gown has a gathered, white, nylon tricot crinoline. At the waistline there is a little white sash. All you do is wrap the sash around your dolls waist and make one tie in the back. See photo #3. Also included is a beautiful glass pearl bracelet.
FYI: The Rose, was designed last summer. I never found the perfect time to release such a gown. When I learned of Bex’s passing. Emotions overwhelmed me, like many of you. While I began to grieve I glanced to my right, and here, standing next to me was my doll wearing the unfinished rose gown. It then became clear to me, that this gown was made for only one purpose. The Rose would be called “Rebecca,” to honor the memory of the beauty she brought to many of our lives.
There are only 30 gowns available. Since the supplies to make this gown were purchased last summer, chances of finding more…. (I might be able to find the chiffon rosette trim, but finding the perfect matching fabric for the gown will not be easy.)The supplies I have on hand are extremely limited to maybe 6 gowns??? If we sell out and you want this gown please send me an email request and I’ll see what can be done.
